The holiday season is a time for giving, and what better way to share the spirit than by supporting survivors of domestic violence and their families…?

YWCA Evanston/North Shore is thrilled to host its annual Lend-A-Hand Holiday Gift Drive for residents of our Mary Lou's Place Shelter. This meaningful initiative ensures that children, teens, and adults in our community can experience the joy and warmth of the season. Donations must be delivered to YWCA Evanston/North Shore, 1215 Church St., by noon on Monday, Dec. 9. All items should be new and unwrapped. Gently used clothing is also appreciated.

How You Can Help

We invite you to join us in making the holidays brighter by donating gifts and essentials. Here's how:

  • For Children: Consider donating toys, games, and activities from our suggested list below.

  • For Adults: $20 gift cards to Target or VISA are highly encouraged, giving residents the flexibility to purchase what they need.
